Sunday Snapshots

Poking around in my back yard on Saturday morning, I found...

Lacework by Mother Nature
The ORIGINAL Fibre Artist and Painter - Spider's Web and Jack Frost.  Collaboration,2012
Amazing.

A sparkly winter bouquet.

seed pods and ice crystals

Autumn leaves frozen in time.

frosted curls

... and oh dear Susan.  Look at her!  She is still beautiful as ever in her new dress of diamonds.

Susan wears diamonds now.

p.s. those petals are unedited.  They POP with color against the white snow.
: )

Happy, happy sparkly Sunday everyone.

beautiful pictures! beautiful frost! since i don't really care for (hah!) winter, i always try to look for something that will take the edge off the cold for me - hoar frost is just the best! i forget about being cold and damp and drear, and just revel in how beautiful the world can be when it's painted by jack frost! and when the breeze blows and the little needles fall through the air? magic - simply magic! diamonds everywhere!
cheers

Amazing photos.
Some people see hoar frost, others see nature's beauty.

I don't think I have ever seen a spider web covered in frost, but then again we very rarely see hoar frost on the East Coast. I love Winter just for the sheer beauty of it! Thanks for sharing.
