Slowly But Shirley Daisy.

UGH!  Why did I start this!?

It is Tuesday.  Tomorrow is one of my son's 7th birthday party.  They next day I have dayhome kids over (i.e.: no sewing).  That leaves me three days to finish the Crazy Daisy quilt for the bookstore.  That would be fine except that I have never done or even seen the 'quilt as you go' method, which is what this quilt uses.  I have 20 blocks made: 10 stripes and 10 dresden plates which quilted out SO PRETTY!

I did some decorative stitches while quilting in a circle.  (YES when it comes to machines, I do have a foot fetish thank you : )

Then I appliqued the centers.  I LOVE my circle cutter from HobbyWorld!!  yeah.  Thanks honey!

And then I decorated some more with the perfect coordinating thread.

But now what?  How do I do this?  I have ten of those above, and ten of these below...

I'm supposed to sash these now?  With what color?  how?  Will it be lumpy?  What about the back?  Oh it's so overwhelming.  here.  Let's look at something more interesting...

Ah there you go.  Now I can sleep better tonight.  I'll finish it later.

Slowly but Shirley Daisy.

Slowly but surely.

goodnight!
