detail of 'Coming to Canada' by Linda McBain Cuyler |
This morning I was up bright and early to promote the exhibition on the local Global Television morning show... and back at home long before the sun came up! You can view the video clip here, as I have no idea how to embed it.
I watched it by accident with no sound. You'll think I'm trying to fly away or something. ! I forgot how much I talk with my hands. I do recall public speaking in Winnipeg 2 years ago, and a photographer pulled me aside to show me all the photos after the event. She kept saying, 'look at you! You like you are dancing and swimming and flying!' lol
Ha ha - oh well...
See you all tonight at 813 Broadway Avenue, Saskatoon! Many of the items are for sale FYI. Several of the artists will be there, so please come and say hello to them. For those who cannot be there, please sign the guest book so that I can share your comments with them.
Have a good weekend,

I thought you looked very natural, not nervous. Good luck on great attendance for the show.
Congratulations! Good luck with the opening. You looked great. I talk with my hands way more than that. lol
Stay inspired!
Monika, it was wonderful to watch the clip and see you "in person"! You are so lovely and natural in front of the camera - great job. I hope your opening was a huge success.
Congratulations on an excellent interview. Wish I was closer to attend the exhibit. Are you going to share photos of the lovely work that is on display (with permission of the artists of course)?
It was indeed excellent. and oh, I couldn't talk without my hands! ;^)
Good job on the interview and show promotion. I look forward to seeing it!
You did wonderfully! I don't think you used your hands over much. You seemed relaxed and spoke quite confidently, I thought. Loved the art you brought with you. Good show.
Hugs
Thanks for sharing the clip. It was great to see you 'in person' and I thought you did a wonderful job of explaining what the show was all about.
Love your work and I enjoy your blog very much.
