Sur le lac & Available Minis

Last week my husband and I snuck out to a nearby lake while the kids were in school for the day.  He brought his fishing gear.  I brought art supplies.  It was a great day at 22C with no wind.  I brought along my tool box of soft pastels, some pastel paper, masking tape, and a an old board (just like mom did).  I sat in the boat, on the lake, and did 'en plein air'.  I suppose that's completely incorrect.  Technically it should be painting 'sur le lac'.  : )

i cna't spell it

There's not a lot of detail but it was just beautiful to work with those gorgeous Pan Pastels.

The rest of the weekend, I've been working on more minis.  I'm posting them here for sale first - for those of you who don't live here.  They've been getting snapped up like crazy.  I have paypal / etransfer, and shipping for these littles would be $10 or less I expect.  SO if you are interested, go ahead and email me a request to Monika at My Sweet Prairie dot ca (that's all one word).

Mini A, and C are about 2x2 and all are in wood framed under glass.  'Glow' is 4.5x3" and in a 6x8" frame.

lots of pretty packed into one small space. : )

They are all done by free motion machine stitching on dyed cotton.  There are no handstitches with the exception of an occasional bird.  On Friday morning, I will head down to Handmade House to put what is still available on display for sale there.  In the mean time, I'll keep on stitching out more.   My big threadpainting at SK Craft Council Boutique has a new home too now!  Thanks so much for all the interest!  You people rock!
