Sunday Snapshots

Come and look at what I found!

No, I mean... look CLOSER.

... a little closer...

Yeah!!!  That's what I'm talking about!
Now... look
even CLOSER!

Did you know that moss sprouts?

Wow!  I had no idea.  Have you ever seen so much life in such a tiny space!?

Okay now look up...

I'm sure they are wondering why I'm nose-to-the-dirt  : )

Happy Sunday!

Okay, now get cookin'.......let's see that 2nd to last photo in stitches! It'd be gorgeous, especially with the reddish stems.

oh - i wholeheartedly concur with carol! it would look grand - and what a contrast, from our vast prairies to the tiny moss-bits!

I love moss. Once I picked a very small clump with sprouts and set it in a tiny leaf dish. With regular watering it kept all summer on my living room.
It is so delicate and pretty.

Lichen are gorgeous too. There are tiny tiny mushrooms. Teensy creatures. A whole new lilliputian world below our feet!

Sometimes you just have to get close to the ground to see the real beauty in nature.
I agree with all the others this would make a great picture to sew.
