Sunday Snapshots #1 (year two)

It's still summer here! It's supposed to be very, very hot and sunny for another week.  Off to the lake we go! We have four distinct seasons here, so I do pull my kids from school and play hookie when it still feels like this!

p.s. - I don't lie either. When the school asks, "oh are they sick?", I reply, "Nope. I'm driving to the lake and we will be swimming all day". I never get reprimanded for that. Instead, I usually get, "aawe! Can I come along?" : )

Of course!!

Happy Sunday!

How funny! I keep thinking today is Sunday too! Your photo is beautiful. Your children's school is much more lenient than ours. I think children can learn as much or more on a trip to the lake once in awhile than they would have in a classroom for the day.

Jealous! Saskatchewan has so many great lakes to visit! I'm a fitness instructor and usually lose a lot of people over the summer, but I can't really blame them when the weather's this nice!
