I just found out... Prairie City is heading off on a 2 year tour! I'm so honoured to have my work selected for Dimensions again. WOW. I was away in Melfort during the SK Craft Council jurying and critique events, so I was not ablt to see which 35 craft pieces were selected. I got my phone call notification while on the road during a bout of laryngitis. lol That was the most difficult conversation ever. : ) The good news is I'll be able to see them all in Regina when they have their first exhibition. The MacKenzie Art Gallery dates are May 23 - August 16, 2015. In Sept/Oct they will be in Whitehorse! : )

This is the piece that was selected. Here are some images I took during the creation phase. I did some free motion stitching on this, but by the time I was done, it was days of handwork accumulated.

Prairie City has a new owner, so she won't be for sale on this tour. She's Blooming (which toured with Dimensions 2013) is available and on exhibit in Melfort.

Have a great day, and congrats to the group!
