Thank you Sophie Long! I LOVE THIS! ; ) |
And, since it is the Spring Equinox, my children colored some eggs. It's a family tradition. I love family traditions. I think these eggs of theirs are so beautiful.
I'm going out on a limb here... I do love the one-of-a-kind experience of having midwinter weather with spring daylight hours. It is very, very unusual since midwinter daylight begins at 9am and ends before 5pm. Right now we are experiencing sunny evenings and earlier sunrises (8 to 8 or thereabouts) even though there is deep snow everywhere. I feel like I landed on a different planet. This next photo is the view from my kitchen table. This photo was taken the morning BEFORE this week's winter storm that BLEW through town. Unbelievable.
What else do I love? SPRING. I love spring. (Spring, hello? Where are you??)
Happy Thursday. If you need a chuckle, please go back to yesterday's post and click on the link to the locally made music video. Really - just do it. : )

Congratulations again on that book, Monika! And those eggs are indeed lovely.
Bundle up now; we've got an Alberta Clipper coming through and it's headed East!
We've got the same effects here with the weather, kin of odd but the brightness is helping me feel better.
I saved all my kids eggs but there are only a few left. They will keep if you wrap them well. The ones that last longer were the boiled ones.
Congrats on the article!
