Sunday Snapshots

SIGH.
oh Winter.
I love you, but I fear you are smothering me!!

huge fluffy flakes in the morning sun, freshly fallen on our deck last week

I'm trying to make the best of it by playing with my new camera.  Being inspired by white only lasts so long.  I need color now.  We've had a real lack of birds this winter so it was great fun to find a thousand cedar waxwings squawking up a storm across the street.

having a party atop a four-story tree

I'd rather be smothered in flowers.  My husband can read my mind... thank you Michael! ; )

yellow roses are a temporary substitute for sunshine.

It is time for a trip to the Mendel Conservatory - and let me tell you I will be LOVING the air at Prairieland Park next weekend!  It will be bursting with blooms for Gardenscape.

Happy Sunday,
THINK SPRING!!!

what amazing pictures of the snowflakes! they really are beautiful, even if we have had enough of them. Of course I can't really say that...I am down in Arizona now!

I am being smothered by winter both literally and figuratively! Fantastic snowflake photos by the way. Love love them!

I'm reluctant to let winter go because I always want to get out on the snow shoes one last time. Latel I've felt a desire for color too. I've been eying the flower bouquets. Might have to buy one.

HOW DID YOU PHOTOGRAPH THOSE SNOWFLAKES! It is just stunning.
Really--I love these pictures.
And it was minus 35 for most of last week (even it it did warm up during the days). Yap. I want flowers! Grass! Birds! To be able to walk the trails without snowshoes! I'm with you all the way!!! :-)
