Scholarship Presentation - Monday Night

Last fall, I was the recipient of the 2011 Saskatoon Quilt Guild's annual scholarship.  That meant I HAD to spend money on me, and on sewing.  I feel pretty fortunate to have been given such an amazing opportunity.

Through the winter & spring I attended plenty of classes and workshops.  PLENTY.  I am so grateful!

I'm not showing too many photos here, so my slideshow will still be interesting : ).  Let's just say that IT WAS AN AWESOME ADVENTURE!  Thank you so much SQG!

bobbin work with specialty threads

I'll be presenting tonight on my experiences with that and sharing some things I learned along the way.  I'm crossing my fingers that all goes well with the projector and sound system.  (haha, I speak from experience.)

See you then!

Done! It was FUN : ) Whew. That guild is always such a great crowd. I'll be presenting again to the afternoon meeting in October. Hopefully I'll have less jitters next time.

Thanks!

Monika
