Things I Love Thursday
I love making new blog friends! Recently, I came across a blog with threadpainting by Canadian quilter Dahn Casselman. (Dahn rhymes with Yukon). Here blog is here. Since I had gobs of thread from the Jane Evans sale, I offered Dahn some thread. She offered me hand painted sky fabric in return. OH YEAH!! I love bartering!
Ilove ADORE these hand painted sky pieces. When she sent me the photo of the fabric, I got all choked up! lol I'm such a sap for this craft. Well, it finally arrived. Be still my heart. THANK YOU Dahn!! I'm hope to see you around The Needle & Thread Network in the future. ; )

What gorgeous fabrics! I can see why you adore them.
Wow, they are beautiful! You will get lots of pieces from them.
The fabric is gorgeous and the thread you sent her is equally so!! Lucky both of you.:)
(I've subscribed to her blog.)
NICE! I think it's so hard to find good "sky" fabric! You stuck the jack pot!!
Oooooh... aren't these lovely! I bet you'll create some wonderful works with these, Monika. I see lots of sunny prairie skies in these fabrics.
Thanks again Monika! I have already started using the thread you sent to me..
