I finished all my framing all my pieces (WHOOPEEE) and got those little crocuses in too! I had fun stitching all those dry, mashed down grasses in the cow pasture. I didn't have fun photographing it - sun/cloud/sun today...
Crocuses in Spring, 2012 (SOLD) |
Mounted, double matted, framed in a warm, warm color. I love it!
Here's Flax at Jackfish #5. It looks really cool in the long panel-frame. This piece is 3x9 inches.
Flax at Jackfish #4 (FYI #3 is sold) |
For the show on Sunday, I have 2 versions of Bloom, one of the Canola field, and Tipi & Rosehips as well. I even managed to plant my garden too before our big 48 hr rain. All is good!
I'm linking to TGIFF - Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday : )

These are so beautiful! Really special. So wish the sale was in my neck of the woods, I would so love to go and see all your work.
I LOVE the flax field...takes me back to my childhood on the farm! :)
Loving your newest pieces!! I especially love the blue flax in the long lean shape. Wishing you a fabulous show too!
Wow, those are beautiful, Monika! Those crocuses are the perfect touch. Good luck on Sunday! Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
Beautiful work! And it looks even better framed! I'm amazed at how you do all those French knots that get smaller and recede into the distance.
I've been working away at my garden but it takes away from my studio time. Plus it is deadly hot here right now.
good luck with your show and sale I am sure you will run out and have to take orders. Love the crocuses.
