The butterflies were all over the shore. It was amazing - thousands of them!
can you see all the little white specs down the beach? |
Of course, I had to snap a gazillion more photos on the way home. It was so beautiful! We parked on the side of the road, turned off the A/C, and rolled down the windows. "Smell!" I said. The kids couldn't believe it. All that clover is absolutely incredible!

After a superb one-day vacation, I came home to a mailbox stuffed full of postcards and goodies! Oooh check it out! Clockwise from the top right are a lovely card from a swapper in Dublin, Ireland. It's full of embellishments in their country's colors. How sweet! "In My Garden" swap card from British Columbia, "Lake Life" from Ontario, and "Berry Picking" swap card are there too!
The last thing in the mail was the final issue of "FibreArts" magazine. I mean - the last. That's a bit sad. Quilting Arts is doing well. Word is that there's a new mag coming out next year called "Fibre Art Now". I really look forward to that. : )
See you tomorrow!

I hope I'm not boring anyone. Fear not! I'll have sooo much to stitch come September.

I'm so jealous of the beautiful vistas you get to see on a regular basis. :D Thank you for sharing them with us all.
Definately not boring - I love looking at your pictures.
Looks like you got a lot of relaxing in! I am always so in awe of the scenery you have there. I really like the fields of all one thing. Stunning! We just don't have that here... wide open fields. We are more about forests and mountains. So nice to see other things through your photos!
