#44!? Wow.
Here are few 'conversational' (?) pieces.
Enjoy!
far away, up on the hill, fenced off, I see you! |
Looking for things to sew. Michael took this one ; ) |
And a glowing little snippet from my cell phone camera, taken early in the morning in my backyard:
blue bell buds in retro vignette |

Lovely photos. What are the flowers on the hill? They look too small to be sunflowers.
Blanket flowers. Small like marigolds?
Best i can describe them. They are very tough. :-)
Re:Pieces of Sunshine re flowers on the hill...I think they are what we always called Brown eyed
Susans, a Gaillardia. They've been at road sides
forever. I have a photo of a grand uncle who is
wearing a boutiniere made of these flowers circa
1906.(haven't pinpointed the occasion...maybe he
just liked them!)
thanks Monica
They aren't Brown Eyed Susans, but they are Gaillardia, Blanket Flower is the common name. They are shorter than susans, and they have red pokey centers.
