I still love my new brown curtains. I don't even remember where the red ones are.

the leaf...YOU could use wash away stabilizer to create that...stitch it and then use a liquid starch to shape .let dry and it will be hard . Lay over batting while it dries the shape you want...I'll wait to see it...have fun
