Block Party Entry #2

Here's a simple fused applique-ready quilt block for the contest at QuiltStory that I whipped up this morning in between chauffering children.  : )  Personally, I love it.  I will most likely incorporate it into something for the upcoming "Making Waves" theme for our city's big quilt exhibit in the fall.  What do you think?

It's simple, fresh, bright, and clean.  I like it.  If you have designed a block, you can enter it here:

That will be my Creative category entry.  Now off to make a modern block.  I'm on a roll...

VERY easy. I was going to do a fishbowl in a porthole block, but didn't know how to make the top flat. This worked much easier. I actually think this one is my favorite. : ) Thanks both of you!

Adorable! The fishies' profile is so cute, and the water fabric is perfect!
