Dreamtime.

Dreamtime.  I can feel myself shift into it.  I finished up two more new little pieces for this week and then found myself able to sit and rest and begin to imagine my new space.

I spent a couple of hours out on the deck under the big tree perusing a pile of magazines, marking ideas that would be perfect for the studio.

Every once in a while I grab a decorating magazine from the grocery store shelves (because I am not on Pinterest).  I don't notice the titles, I only chose by the images.  It's interesting that I end up picking the same magazine over and over.  My mother has nearly every issue of Country Living from as far back as my childhood.  The pages are full of eyecandy for my dreamspace.

My husband is building, I am designing.  This feels like one big art project - one of those that is just for me.  And you know, when I do art that is just for me, magic happens.

Then lastnight I phoned my mother to check in with her and see how she's doing.  For as long as I can recall, she has read horoscopes.  When she answered the phone, the first thing she said was, 'want to hear your horoscope!?  It's really good.'  And so I jotted it down as she told me about June 2014.

Taurus
Pursuing your ideas can lead to a better life.  Broaden your horizons and consider ways to make your home more conducive to achieving your goals.  Clear away a workspace to help you develop something you want to explore.

Love it.  : )
This is turning out to be such a wonderful year.

Have a great week,

I guess I should do likewise... I'm a Taurus, too.

In case you might not know, that flower in the last pic is Bird's-foot-trefoil (Lotus corniculatus). I'd love it to replace my lawn as it's lovely, needs no mowing, is bee friendly, and is extremely drought resistant. Farmers plant it because cows eat it. It's hard to establish but once you get it, it stays. Yay!
