Things I Love Thursdays / Sunday Snapshots

I'm gone for about a week - going on a road trip with my boys to Manitoba to visit, vacation, and take down the show at McNally's on Sunday night  (last call if you want to purchase any art from them).  I guarantee I'll return with loads of photos : )  Here's my post for the week - Things I Love Thursdays (I love sky watching) and Sunday Snapshots (on clouds).  With the rain we had last weekend, we saw the clouds do some terrific evening shows.  These were taken around 9 pm from my north balcony.

So tell me, what do you see?

I saw a heart sprinkling down from the big fluff at the top.

Now what do you see?

I saw a bird flying out to the right from an opening in the cloud - like the pages of a book.

What do you see now?

I saw a face in the bright white cloud - someone soaring through the sky with extended arms, heading into the sun.

Clouds are so interesting.  It's like an ever-changing landscape.

And as the sun sets, the colors change too.  The sunsets are late now as we approach the Summer Solstice.  I didn't want to miss the show that night, so the littlest sat outside with me while I took photos (instead of us heading off to bed).

prairie skies are like a good bedtime story

She's good at seeing things in the clouds too.  So here we go - colors change.  Sun catches the tops and the loose parts float around in the shadows.

completely unedited - mother nature did it all herself

My daughter can name all the cloud types.  They just studied that in grade one science at school.  This evening was a great chance for her to teach me.  She's so smart. : )

All diagonal. I suppose it looks like I fell over?  ;)  I didn't.

Have a terrific week!
Take care,

Sweetness is perhaps the best word I am able to find to describe what I feel when I read your blog and see your embroidery work! And thank you for that! :)
