So tell me, what do you see?
I saw a heart sprinkling down from the big fluff at the top.
Now what do you see?
I saw a bird flying out to the right from an opening in the cloud - like the pages of a book.
What do you see now?
I saw a face in the bright white cloud - someone soaring through the sky with extended arms, heading into the sun.
Clouds are so interesting. It's like an ever-changing landscape.
And as the sun sets, the colors change too. The sunsets are late now as we approach the Summer Solstice. I didn't want to miss the show that night, so the littlest sat outside with me while I took photos (instead of us heading off to bed).
prairie skies are like a good bedtime story |
She's good at seeing things in the clouds too. So here we go - colors change. Sun catches the tops and the loose parts float around in the shadows.
completely unedited - mother nature did it all herself |
My daughter can name all the cloud types. They just studied that in grade one science at school. This evening was a great chance for her to teach me. She's so smart. : )
All diagonal. I suppose it looks like I fell over? ;) I didn't. |
Have a terrific week!
Take care,

Have a great trip.
Our view of the sky here in Texas is very much like yours....huge and very beautiful!! My son and I used to find pictures in the clouds together. Your daughter is adorable!!! I just want to hug her.
Sweetness is perhaps the best word I am able to find to describe what I feel when I read your blog and see your embroidery work! And thank you for that! :)
