Sunday Snapshots

I was at the University of Saskatchewan grounds today taking family photos for a friend, and wouldn't you know it!?  The boulevard at Innovation Place was overflowing with blue flax - still blooming!!  I was in heaven. : )

!!  Isn't that fabulous!?  Oh is was prettier that you could ever imagine.  Happy Sunday everyone!

Gorgeous Monica! The flowers are so delicate and that soft blue with the vivid green is just stunning. I don't know where I would see that amazing green in the wild here.

The colours, the shape, the daintiness, all is so beautiful. No wonder you had a fantastic time.

I thought of you today as one of the two flax fields was being swathed today. They turn such a deep color it's easy to spot them in the fall.

What lovely pictures and surprising that the flax is still blooming. Mine went to seed weeks ago it seems. Such a beautiful blue :)
