Valentine's Day is approaching! I had the pleasure of doing a show & tell about Fibre Art Postcards with a grade one classroom last week. The children LOVED seeing the cards and playing with the fabrics. They spent the afternoon cutting and collaging fibres and fabric to their cards, and then they sewed borders around. Very fun! And look how pretty!!
They did such a good job and really enjoyed the stitching part. Smart kids! They wrote messages on the back as each card was made for someone they love. See the one empty spot on the table above? Here she is working on a valentine for her family.
Beautiful.
