Sunday Snapshots

From our trip to Meota...  late summer on the prairies.  : )

near (at Hamlin)

far (wheat at Meota)

everything is SO ripe.

As for the first photo - look at the colors!  look at the colors!!  Yellows, orange, grey, green.  Sunshine.  mmmmmm! : )  I could have stayed in that ditch all day.  I had to lie right down in the grasshoppers to get that photo.  Oh it was so worth it!  That field was just glowing.  It brought back lots of good memories of playing on that road in the '70's.  : )

and... (drumroll please)
Here is the photo I was planning on entering into a contest themed, "Stepping Stones" but I missed the deadline!!  In fact, I missed the deadline by an entire month.  haha.  Oh well.  I won a big prize last year in the same contest.  No big deal now.  I can only laugh at my tardiness.

It's not my childrens' footprint.  It was left behind on the beach by another child and I though it was very endearing.

happy Sunday and happy September to you : )

That first photo is spectacular. Very worth being down with those grasshoppers!

Well worth laying in a ditch. I don't think I have ever seen such beautiful colors so far.
