We were lucky enough to get an 18th floor room overlooking the North Saskatchewan river. The water is sooo green in Edmonton! Here's the same view just before the sun came up...
I did take a lot of city-at-night photos which are PRETTY but blurry since I'm no expert...
Here is a BIG view as the sun broke through. We were right in the middle of the city. It's a BIG city, and so full of tall, tall evergreens. It certainly feels more northern than here.
Of course, in between family visits, we spent some time at the biggest mall ever. There's a gazillion stores, a full sized skating rink, a gigantic naturally lit beach/wave pool, bowling alleys, golfing, an ocean like setting with seals doing tricks, a ship, and a huge amusement park with three rollercoasters ALL UNDER ONE ROOF. I kid you not. Here's my favorite photo...

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend everyone!

How beautiful! The fall colors are just stunning.
Such lovely views to have out of your window. The sky looks amazing too. It sounds as if you had a really fab time. :))
Amazing photos! What a view you had, just beautiful.
What hotel was that?
I have to say that I didn't ever feel at home when I lived in Edmonton but the autumn was always gorgeous… I took my camera to Fort Edmonton Park and just basked in it.
Beautiful shots!
