The blue asters filled the ditches along the road to the beach where I grew up.

A stormy day at any prairie lake makes for some SERIOUS and unforgettable fun!

Thank you for taking us with you. What gorgeous country it is.
First of all I wan´t to thank you for the magazine. It was nice to read especial the article about you and your work.
When I see the pictures in your blog I often wonder if it is a photo or if it is an embroidery. I´ve never seen so beautiful things before.
Many thanks/ Elaine from Sweden
I hope you can understand what I mean, I´m not so good in english.
Oh Elaine, you are so welcome! You know when I see photos of Norway & Sweden, I think they are some of the most beautiful places on earth. Most people don't see much in the prairies / flatlands, but the people who live here notice a lot of beauty. ; ) I'm glad I could share that with you!

ps your English is FINE ; )
Beautiful pictures...lots of stitching inspiration there I think:)
Beautiful photos! I love the one of Jackfish Lake-very surreal coloring in the water. I am sure you will be creating more gorgeous pieces of art with our collection of summer shots. Can't wait to see them as they come to life!
What wonderful shots you got on your holiday. The beach looks wild and wonderful. :)
wow. What a contrast that first photo is....the blue and the green...water and grass...just beautiful.
If I lived where you do, I'd never take a vacation away... gorgeous photos, Monika. Thank you for sharing at Your Sunday Best this week.
Wow, really beautiful. The lake water with wind-blown waves looks like our ocean here in CA.
Wonderful water pics, very nice.
