Yesterday I mounted, matted, and framed four pieces for next week. I also mailed out some announcements to people who bought my work at my last exhibit.
Today, I sat in the sun with the windows open (yessssssssss) and I put the binding on this piece.
It's big enough to be a wallhanging plus it's quilted, so I chose not to frame it like my threadpaintings.
I am just adding hanging tabs now. It is finished a lot like this one was.
I'm thrilled with the framed work too. You can see it at my Flickr page. They are HUGE files, so I didn't want to load them onto the blog.
And this quilt is off Etsy now. It's donated to an Autism Saskatoon fundraiser auction. If you are there, BID HIGH. : )
