Sunday Snapshots

Often not realized, lakes are such an integral part of prairie life.  If you grew up on the prairies, you likely grew up at a lake too.


It's crooked because is was SO windy!  The next one is a great shot.  I took these last year at Cochin.   "Cochin Ocean".

    I love these photos. Water is my fav. I love running brooks and streams with the water rushing over large rocks and boulders... oceans with waves, too.

    Now, this is probably going to make me sound really stupid, but I had no idea that lakes had waves like that! LOL

    That's fine Yvette! ; ) That was one very windy day. We love to head out to jump the whitecaps on days like those. Otherwise, if there's no wind, there are no waves. : )
