Release of The Butterflies

Since my kids had no school on Friday, the oldest went to work with dad, and the two littles came with me to Prairieland Park.  What a treat to spend the afternoon watching newly hatched butterflies stretch out their curled wings for the first time and take flight!


These are the same breed of butterfly - brown when closed, blue when open!  Beautiful.

What a great time.  My daughter was the helper for the release of the Monarchs!  Very lucky indeed!


If you are in Saskatoon, the show is on until 8pm Saturday and also from 10am to 5 pm on Sunday.  See you there!
