Quilt Pattern Give-Away

While I'm busy working on the preschool fundraiser quilt, I thought I would post another draw!  This time, the winner will get a copy of the quilt pattern I have in my etsy store.  I will mail it to the recipient in PDF format.  It's based on a traditional 'in-the-meadow block', but I think the new name has become 'square in a square'.

in the meadow / square in a square

It's a full size quilt made of 63 blocks in four color groups.  The pattern includes measurements for fabric amounts in metric and imperial.  There are quilting instructions included for easy "circles" on small machines.  It's a great pattern if you have precut jelly rolls too!  Diagrams and photos are throughout the instructions.

i made this in autumn colors for our living room

Want to try it out?  I would love feedback on the pattern.  Leave a comment telling me what four colors you would like to make this in.  I used cranberry centres, chocolate brown, maple, and butter.  haha - mmmmmm.  The winner will be chosen by a random number generator on Sunday midnight.  The winner will be announced on Monday morning!  Good luck!

  7. I am always looking for quilt patterns that work well with scraps for making Quilts of Valour. Usually, I tend to use country colours: greens, blues, browns and dark gold as well as red for these quilts but they also look stunning in red and white.

  11. I would be glad to be your tester. I have an American Jane jelly roll..Wee Play. I think it would be nice in that pattern. I also think that a light and dark scrappy would be fun. I am curious about the quilting info too.

  12. I love the clean lines that are showing on your sneak peak. I am more of a blues/greens/purples person and would love to see the quilt in those colours. Good luck with the design business. Joanne H

  13. orange, orange and then probably a bit more orange, but maybe a bit of pink thrown in for interest.

I thought I had joined to follow before and saw I was mistaken. Will be checking in regularly now. (from Maple Leaf Quilt guild).

  14. Very pretty quilt! Why is it so hard to visualize a quilt in different colours once you've seen it done well in a particular colour scheme? Is it just me? Oh, well, if I had to choose different colours I'd probably go with 2 blues, white and rust.

  15. Hello Monika.... I just wanted to share that I love the colors of your quilt. I would choice fall colors/prints -- think of leaves, since that is my favoritetime of year. I was also wondering if you was still looking for quilt pattern testers as I would love to be a tester for you? Please let me know. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Tricia
